Who We Are
Dan Edmonds-Waters - Owner
After 20 years in the complex world of healthcare management, Dan decided to develop his family’s rural retreat into an agribusiness. Our small scale farming operation and retreat center builds on Dan’s vision for a place that celebrates the rural nature of Napa County while offering a great escape and immersion experiences to small groups.
Dan is passionate about developing great spaces, growing great food and developing people. A veteran with strong background in strategy, planning and execution in business, in 2012 Dan put his mind to developing a sustainable organic farming operation that is in a mutually supporting relationship with a restaurant group. Dan manages the estate development and the immersion retreat customers and also is the primary business partner with the Bisou Group.
Cecelia Stevens – Culinary Farm Manager
Cece is our Farm Manager. She oversees the daily operations, crop plans, harvest schedule and quality control for our produce production. Cece has spent 5 years dedicated to her craft, coming to NKG after 4 years managing a local private organic farm. She is a dedicated naturalist who deeply values organic systems, principles of permaculture, and being true to what we know is fundamentally good for the human body.
Her produce is AMAZING. We are growing many special varieties of baby carrots, baby beets, baby leeks, unique lettuces, and specialty herbs year-round.
