Programs For 2017
Experiences for Small Groups
These three new programs are fun and food focused for private parties and celebratory corporate events. We have put these experiences together to bring you into the joy and splendor of natural Northern California in our best months to be outside.
Pig Roast and BBQ: We have partnered with some local chefs to offer premium, organic meats for feasts on the farm. Bring a group of friends or colleagues to your very own pig roast at Napa Kitchen Gardens. This escape features a full-day estate takeover of Napa Kitchen Gardens, delicious heritage meats that have been hand tended and cooked onsite. Your event will include full-day catering by Napa Kitchen Gardens, access to the conference facilities, and pool.
Bike Tour and Pool Party: Get a group of friends together and spend the day on a beautiful bike tour of rural Napa County. Our tours are closely supported by Getaway Adventures who provide the bikes and everything you need for a great day. Your experience concludes with a pool party and 3-course meal hosted by Napa Kitchen Gardens, and a wine tasting with Langtry and Foley wines.
Private Wine Makers Dinners: Create a special event of your own with one several local winemakers for a special early evening program. Our winemaker dinners feature a small intimate wine tasting and Q&A with local vintners. Following the tasting, Napa Kitchen Gardens caters a 3-course meal alfresco held family style with the winemaker, farmer, and your personal chef. Learn more about wine making as well as how your food grows on our farm! You can choose the winemaker if you have a favorite!
Three new programs we are launching with specific experience to enhance and enable team behaviors. These events take place at Napa Kitchen Gardens and include skilled facilitation of unique programs that take full advantage of our location, privacy, and professional experience.
Team Taste Challenge Competition: This day-long experience focuses on food, taste, and cooking as a common denominator in shared experience. We may not all be expert chefs but we all know how to taste! Team members will start the day picking fresh from the farm with the Master Gardener and then spend the afternoon cooking with their private chef. This team-based day concludes with wine tasting and devouring a multi-course feast prepared by your teams.
Survival Adventure Simulation Game: In order to support team growth and communication, we facilitate survival adventure simulation games on site at Napa Kitchen Gardens. Currently featuring “California Black Bear” and “Brush Fire” scenarios, teams are forced to work through issues and prioritize in order escape impending doom. These 3-hour escapes are even more realistic in the Napa “outback” and are followed by a wholesome 3-course meal by the pool when it’s all over.
Tomato Palooza: Announcing our first tomato lover’s event for September – Tomato Palooza! At Napa Kitchen Gardens, our awesome selection of heirloom tomatoes (small, medium, and HUGE) are already dangling from their trellis hangin' on for your event. Plan to take a day in the country to appreciate the fresh taste and amazing diversity of these fruits.
